Class of 2019 Diploma Order Form

Class of 2019 Diploma Order Form (Seniors must have this filled out no later than October 26, 2018)

Please PRINT your full legal name, as it should appear on your diploma. DO NOT include any initials. Gentlemen who have “Jr.”, III, etc. in their names MUST INCLUDE THIS. If you do not have a middle name, please indicate with a “NMI” (No Middle Initial). Remember: Your diploma is ordered from this form therefore, PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME.

Back to School Night

Update- due to afterschool activities being cancelled, back to school night has been moved to September 24th. Back to school night will be on September 24th. From 5:30p.m.-6:00p.m. we will be helping parents who would like to get assistance with PowerSchool and from there at 6:00p.m. we will be having an Parent Teacher Student Organization information session along with a meet and greet/Principal Information session. At 6:30p.m., parents will start rotating through their student’s schedule for the remainder of the night.

Senior Cap and Gown Order Form

Attention Seniors!!! Please complete the Senior Cap and Gown Order form using the Class of 2019 Cap and Gown Order Form link provided.  This form MUST be completed no later than Friday, September 7, 2018 to ensure the order is received by Senior Convocation.  Seniors who do not complete the order form will be distributed a Cap and Gown based on available sizing. Cap and Gowns will NOT be distributed until the Senior Class Fee ($60) is paid. Please contact Ms. Ebony Hill via email at if you have any questions and/or concerns.

PSAT Information for 9th and 11th graders

In preparation for the SAT, we offer 10th grade students an opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT free of charge. All sophomores are automatically registered for testing.  We would also like to extend an opportunity to interested Freshmen and Juniors who would like to take the PSAT test at a cost.  Ninth graders may sign up to take the PSAT 8/9 for $11 and Eleventh grade students may sign up to take the PSAT/NMSQT for $16.  Those 9th and 11th grade students who wish to sign up to take the October 10, 2018 PSAT MUST complete tHE ATTACHED REGISTRATION FORM and turn it in with the appropriate registration fee (cash or check made payable to their school) to HSHS by Monday, September 10, 2018Late registrations will not be accepted and there are no refunds for missed tests.

Important First Day of School Information

Welcome back students! We are excited about the new school year and that you will be joining us! Please take a moment to review some important first day information.

  • Bus information can be found on PowerSchool under the transportation tab
  • Homerooms this year are your 1st Block Class, please report directly to 1st Block
  • Schedules can be found on PowerSchool, if you do not have access to your PowerSchool account, please go to the small gym to receive your schedule
  • AM Tech Students will be assigned a Homeroom to receive their paperwork but will then report directly to their Tech program
  • The first week Bell Schedule can be found on this Website under the About tab
  • All Students will report to their 5th Block prior to reporting to lunch, regardless of the lunch block they are assigned
  • Counselor and Admin assignments are based on your last name and can be found below
  • All Schedule Changes and requests to see your Counselor are digital this year, please request at this link.
  • Laptops will be distributed during the second/third week of school through your English classes according the following schedule- 12th- 9/11 & 9/12, 11th- 9/13 & 9/14, 10th- 9/18 & 9/19, 9th- 9/20 & 9/21

Fee Night

Springer Family: Fee night will be August 29th from 5:30-7:30. We are introducing the SPRINGER FASTLANE this year for those families who pay online! If you pay your fees online and bring your online receipt to fee night, you can BYPASS the fee line and go straight to laptop collection.
